The documentation on Hamachi clearly states that lsb 3.0 or greater is required. When I tried to install LogMeIn Hamachi for Linux (Beta) on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I recently configured a server with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, and wanted to have remote access to my server from my mobile phone / other computers while on the phone. #24 0x00007f7226991152 _libc_start_main (libc.so.I have used Hamachi for years, and while it does not seem to be heavily marketed, if you are an IT Pro, I do not know how you live with out this software. I haven't got any clue about docker and it's been a while, so I do not recall all steps, but it works. In a folder called tmp (as in the Dockerfile ADD) the rmp file for the 64 bit hamachi client from should reside. Then you have to connect in the docker container to your hamachi network and it should work. (This step is important as you need to open the docker network to your network which worked this way (I guess -net=host))ĭocker run -net=host -privileged=true -it docker-hamachi /bin/bash RUN echo '/etc/init.d/logmein-hamachi start' > ~/.bashrcĪnd to connect. RUN echo '/opt/logmein-hamachi/bin/hamachid &' > ~/.bashrc RUN cp -f -r /tmp/logmein-hamachi /var/lib RUN yum install -y glibc.i686 libstdc++.i686 However, I managed to run logmein-hamachi in docker: As someone else pointed out, it the glibc version arch uses is the wrong one and several versions newer. What could have caused it to stop working? Is there some dependency I'm missing? ![]() The logmein-hamachi service seems to crash after like five minutes, with a core dump I can't begin to understand. Is there something special I need to do now to get minecraft to play nice with Hamachi? Now it just fails to connect to the server. I have the logmein-hamachi service enabled (although it seems to be crashing quite a bit) but I seem to be able to connect to the network and view my friends IPs and such.īut last time I simply used the hosts IP in the minecraft server menu and it worked instantly. I replicated this setup on the new system I built, and it simply doesn't find the minecraft world. This worked fine for the most part, save for the occasional crash. On my old system, I had logmein-hamachi installed and enabled, as well as the haguichi GUI frontend to control it. My friend group unfortunately uses Hamachi to host a Minecraft world, because none of them are technically inclined enough to open ports on their router.
